Balmy Afternoon

Mixing prints is always a daunting task. When you think you conquered the whole look, there is always this one little thing which messes up everything. Coordination of right colours and complimenting prints is the key to opening a highly sophisticated yet effortless style.

I created this look keeping summer in mind. In this scorching heat all one wants is to look good and feel comfortable and breezy in their outfits.

Here is some inspiration to get you started: Pick up a pair of super comfortable cotton pyjamas. Here, I’m wearing one with tiny triangular prints that add some blues to my whites. A peplum top is the exact thing to keep this summery outing a casual yet trendy affair and so I have paired the pyjamas with my white Vero moda peplum top which you must have noticed in my earlier post “Hello Summer” (Its quite my favorite. Hugs you at the right places).

And now comes the exciting part. I have wrapped a cotton scarf round my neck that compliments my cotton pyjamas from Jabong. The scarf has block cameras printed all around which keeps reminding me my love for photography. Since the scarf is enough to gain the right attention, I haven’t used any other accessory or jewellery.

One can style this outfit with flats for a day-time outing. Keep the jewelry to the minimum, a winged eyeliner and a pop of pink lips.

I’m carrying my belongings and so classy aviators in a gold shimmer bag.

The whole point of this attire is to look and feel breezy yet stylish. No heavy-duty embellishment to worry of and no frequenting the powder room for touch ups!
