Hii Sundaries !!
How are you?? Hope last post helpful for you. Now, I think you must be ready for holi festival and little indulgence with colours too. Well !! As promised I am here again with another post regarding ‘ post-holi care’.
Before sharing remedies, I would advice you all not to over shampoo your hairs or over wash your skin with soap after holi, as this will deprive your skin ‘n’ hair from natural moisture and making them dry, rough and flaky.
So, here are some remedies from my pitarra for your ‘post-holi care’, which you can apply on your face and body.
- Take 4 tablespoon rice flour + 1 teaspoon turmeric powder + 2 tablespoon mustard oil/coconut oil + 3-5 tablespoon of water. Make paste by mixing these ingredients and rub on your body for 5-10 minutes & wash off. (When applying this paste on face, remember to add 1 tablespoon curd. Rice flour is hard for facial skin, so it advisable to add curd.)
- Take 4 tablespoon gram flour (besan) + 1 teaspoon turmeric powder + 1 teaspoon honey + 4-6 tablespoon milk. Make paste with these and rub on your face & body, wash after 5 minutes.
- 4-5 tablespoon fresh aloe-vera gel + 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Rub this pack on whole body & wash after 10 minutes. Lemon will help in removing colour from your skin & aloe-vera gel will help in balancing moisture level of skin.
- 4 tablespoon masoor dal (soaked overnight) + 1 teaspoon orange peel powder (optional) + 1 teaspoon honey + 5-6 tablespoon milk. Apply on whole body & wash after 10 minutes.
One more thing sundaries, you can use these packs daily on your face & body in spite of soap.
Also give your skin time of a day or two after holi, these packs will help in removing holi colours as well as it will keep your skin hydrated giving your skin a healthy glow. (Well!! If you will follow pre-holi care from last post, then it won’t be a big task to get rid of holi colours.)
Till our next post stay beautiful.
Happy Holi sundaries !! Enjoy ❤
