Hi Lovelies,

So how was your Independence day? Patriotic much? I don’t really understand the concept of getting all patriotic and deshbhakht for a day and not other 364 days .. Why? You can show your deshbhakti by doing thousand of things .. Don’t you? Well no no I am not here to give any lecture on that but still I find this very amusing that why only for a day you start feeling for your country and not on other days!

Well coming back to my post , I have not dressed up in Saffron, White and Green. Rather I chose to give it a simple yet Desi feel to it. I have given myself two looks one of which I will share in my next post. And yes its under #IWearHandloom campaign.

So I have got these pretty Pallazo and sleeveless top from DiDi’s Creation , a social enterprise which was founded to enable and empower women, in their daily lives, from extremely poor communities and also other sections of society. Both the top & the Pallazo had very beautiful & neat self prints which grabbed my attention.

I have never wore pallazos before and this one took my heart. P.S. It also has pom-pom(s). I like to dress up as an Indo-Bohemian chic so I have accessorized it with my chunky metal earrings and big elephant design ring and paired it with my Lakhnavi Nagra’s.
